Why they didn't Choose Me?
This position came open at work and I really I mean really wanted it! I exceedingly meet all of the criteria for the position. I had years of experience in the field along with years of experience in management. I thought to myself I would be so perfect for this job….. this job is for me! I just know it is! So I got my resume and cover letter together to send over to the company with High Hopes of getting a call. You think I ever got a call??? Nope, no call…. so about a week later I mentioned it to someone that I applied for the position and the first thing they said to me was, you don’t want that job. Then they said they wanted a bigger pool of people before they started calling people in for interviews. As the conversation went on I realized that the conversation was for me to understand that even if you were the best of the best you wouldn’t be chosen because they are not looking for someone like you..
