Graison's First Haircut

I have always been the parent who wanted my boy's hair to be cute. I mean I am not the girl who likes men with hair…. Call me old school but I don’t care how neat his hair is it is just something I don’t like. I definitely believe it was taught to me, but with that being said it is also something that I wouldn’t change and I am taking it with me…. Despite how anyone else feels, please don’t try to explain anything to me to get me to be more understanding. It is something I don’t have to understand… PERIOD. So now let me tell you how childish I was, yep real childish. I am laughing as I am typing this because Simantha ain’t no way you thought you should have done this. Hahaha! So here’s the thing Graison was I think like 19 months old and I kept telling my husband he needs a haircut. Now as bad as I wanted him to be a little girl, I am so Thankful to God he gave me another little boy because guess who can’t do hair….. Your girl, can’t do any hair at all. I am barely making it trying to do my hair and Sibrina hair. Sooooo I kept telling Lamont to go and get his haircut, he was like wait, just wait.. I am thinking wait, how long do you think I am supposed to be waiting? I do not want to keep trying to figure something out with his hair so why have I got to keep waiting? Then one day Lamont said I think I am going to let his hair grow out, hearing this was like hearing the trees fall on my house in the backyard. So here I go, just childish! Simantha you were so immature for this…. I was sitting home and he was running around like a mad animal and I was thinking oh Lamont think I am going to keep doing his hair, well I took the scissors and set him down and cut his hair. As I am cutting his hair I’m thinking oh this is going better than I thought it would and looking at the back it was not looking bad. Then when I finished cutting his hair I knew then this was the worst mistake of my life.I mean his hair looked soooooo bad! I mean I could not believe I did this, I had no option but to call Lamont and tell him. And when I tell you I called he was so mad and got home in less than 10 mins and I was nervous! Wondering what he was going to say, he walked and an immediately snatched Graison from me like I had kidnapped him. He would say a word and finally was like… you got a problem and you don’t listen! I told you to wait! He told me he called the Barber and said he know you are on the way. (I asked him when I got there did he say anything about me and he was like no he didn’t say nothing, but I don’t think he was telling the truth but he also wasn’t going to tell me.) So after he finished cutting his hair he told me that I probably should have waited for the sides to grow in a little more and it wouldn’t have to be cut so low to blend in…. But guess what, I didn’t care cause who was going to still be trying to comb and wash his hair, NOT ME! Anyway, Graison is 4 years old now and still getting a low hair cut cause them sides have still not grown all the way in. Do you think I learned my lesson? Chile, I definitely didn’t…LOL
